Summer Tour 2025 – Part 7
By Samuel
Welcome to Libera FM! Where we’re doing a countdown of the top 5 tour games from our recent Ireland/Spain tour.
Starting it off, in at number 5 we’ve got… The String Game! It’s a classic Libera team game, where in pairs, one blindfolded person is led through the woods by a string, tied between trees, directed by their partner, who can see. At least one game wearing your Libera hoodie backwards as a blindfold has to make the countdown somewhere.
Next, in at number 4, we have a favourite for many, football! Now, normally we don’t include sports like this, but we do sometimes play this one as a group, so it gets included in our list.
Continuing up the chart, in at number 3 we’ve got Splat! You may already know this one, but for those who don’t, it includes the group forming a circle around the ‘splat master,’ and when they shoot, or ‘splat’ you, you must duck, while the people either side of you must splat each other, the slowest person is out.
Now, in at number 2 we’ve got The Peg Game! The Peg Game is played in the woods with three teams: two teams collect hidden coloured pegs worth different points, while the third team chases them. A golden peg is worth 50 points, players caught must face a punishment master before rejoining, and after three rounds the team with the most points wins.
Before we reach the top of our chart, I’d like to talk about some of our lesser known ‘games.’ We’ve got the vocal rest game, usually reserved for the people who have been using their voices too much, sometimes a problem if we visit a theme park before a concert. We also have the who can buy, or even better – win, the largest teddy game? Shout out to Pandi on this tour.
And finally, at number 1, a firm Libera favourite has made it to the top spot – Disease! Disease is a tag game where one player starts as “diseased” and tags others to spread the disease. Tagged players join in until everyone is infected or the game ends due to time running out.
So that concludes our countdown of the top 5 tour games from our recent European tour, thank you for listening, Ladies and Gentlemen, goodnight!
