Libera's music is having a truly global impact. A few days ago, while watching a television news report about Pope Benedict's recent visit to Lebanon, I suddenly heard Libera singing "Sanctus II" ! Someone had apparently decided that this song from the "Luminosa" album deserved to be played on an outdoor loudspeaker as an appopriate musical backdrop for Pope Benedict's passage through that particular street in Beirut. A song of peace in a troubled region...
