Libera Mini-Concert

Apart But Together

On Saturday 6th June, Libera was due to perform a concert in Ely Cathedral in the UK.

This was postponed – but……… there was still a Concert – a Mini-Concert which was shown online!

At 7 30pm that night when we would have been singing in Ely Cathedral we were singing on-line like we’ve never done before, along with our Libera orchestra!

This was shown as a YouTube Premier and the concert remains on-line here.

This concert is free for all to watch. But if you wish to make a donation to help us with the cost of presenting it we would be very grateful.  UK Taxpayers can donate using JustGiving.  All others can use Paypal.

I am sure we can see it on Viking TV’s website. Again, I am so glad to see this cultural joint effort of you being sponsored by Viking Cruises! I am still planning a Viking ocean cruise some time whenever you perform
on one of their boats before they it leaves the port on the Thames River!

Thank you all so much. This means a lot to a great number of people and I can guess the amount of work that goes into it, tech as well as musical. If anyone has the right people, Libera does. Happily anticipating it.

A concert by Libera is always anticipated and welcomed. In this pandemic times, the news is even more so. Thanks are due to the wonderful people in the organization, the magic of Robert Prizeman… and, of course, to the boys in the choir.
I look forward to enjoying the concert.

I look forward to your mini concert. I caught your concert live in Guernsey a few years ago.I introduced my 8 yr old grandson to ‘what a wonderful world’ video. When it finished he said “do people usually cry?’ Not because they are sad but because they are happy. It is sounds so beautiful. Couldn’t have said it better myself.

Some choirs post videos of a song by their choristers from their homes. Libera have raised the standard by performing an entire concert! You are the best! Thank you!

Thank you for an awesome performance! The theme of the concert touched home for mom and I as we had planned to watch the concert together. However, I had to take her to the emergency room this morning and I ended up watching by myself. We were “Apart But Together”. 🙂 Mon will be fine and is looking forward to watching the video with me when she comes home. Thank you for doing this.Y’all are awesome – keep a song in your heart and a smile on your face. Stay safe. And, hopefully we’ll see you on tour again soon. Peace.

Thank you Mr. Prizeman, organizers, LIBERA boys and families. This “Mini” Concert was amazing. Of course; we couldn’t expect anything else. A wonderful job by all.
To the fans; consider donating at LIBERA.ORG the total cost of seeing an actual concert in or near your home town – travel, meals, tickets, merch at the signing table – for me in Atlanta GA USA I estimated $100.00 US.
